My name is Joanna and I am a qualified and experienced sound therapist who works with individuals and groups.  I have worked in the formal and informal education sector for over 15 years and hold an MA in Applied Anthropology, Youth and Community. I facilitate sound baths and one to one sound treatments, and create and deliver wellbeing, music, and drama workshops for adults and children of all ages and abilities, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and  Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Having trained with The College of Sound Healing and the British Academy of Sound Therapy, I use sound, through the medium of voice, tuning forks, gong, Himalayan and Crystal bowls, percussive instruments and drums, to help bring people’s bodies, hearts and minds back into their natural state of harmony.

I have worked with and supported children, young people and families for over 15 years, in youth work, pupil support, participation and family liaison.  I work within mainstream and special needs schools including pupil referral units, supporting children with wellbeing, mindfulness and developmental drama.

I am a trained Empowered Learning Practitioner, and work with children and adults with special learning needs such as Dyslexia and ADHD.

People and businesses I have worked include NHS child obesity group, Ealing; Living with Cancer in association with the Brahma Kumaris, Priory School, Slough, Hillingdon Youth Service, as well as many individual private clients.
